Capturing Kings Meadow:
591 & 581 in the 2025 Showcase of Homes
As the sole real estate media provider for Lowder New Homes, I often have the privilege of documenting new residential projects across the River Region. Just prior to the 2025 GMHBA Showcase of Homes, I photographed and filmed two standout properties in the Kinsley community of Pike Road, AL — 591 and 581 Kings Meadow.
The Showcase event has since concluded, but it was an honor to have these homes featured as part of it. While the Showcase itself is about giving buyers and the community the chance to step into the homes, my role was to capture them in a way that continues to tell their story long after the event.
A Photographer’s Approach
For builder projects, my goal is always to highlight the craftsmanship, flow, and overall livability of each home. With 591 and 581 Kings Meadow, the focus was on illustrating how quality construction, thoughtful layouts, and premium finishes work together to create modern, functional spaces.
Features Worth Showcasing
Both homes reflect the very best in contemporary homebuilding, with:
- Tile and hardwood flooring
- Marble countertops
- Designer fixtures and lighting
- Spacious, well-planned layouts
One of these homes, 591 Kings Meadow, was selected as the 2025 “Ideal Home.” Standing inside and photographing it was a reminder of the high standards builders in this community are setting.
Behind the Lens
Conditions on-site couldn’t have been better — clear weather for drone work and great natural light indoors. With preparations underway for the Showcase, there was a steady flow of people through the properties, but that only added to the sense of anticipation for the event.
Deliverables
For both properties, I provided:
- Professional still photography
- Drone aerial imagery
- A complete video package combining exterior drone footage with interior walkthroughs
These assets now serve to promote the quality of homes in the Kinsley community and highlight the workmanship of builders like Lowder New Homes and Russell Construction.
Reflection
Not every project involves homes of this caliber, which made these sessions especially rewarding. Being entrusted to capture the Ideal Home for 2025 and its neighboring property was a privilege, and I look forward to seeing how these images and videos continue to represent the community long after the Showcase.
